STYLOS MONASTERY
A challenging and rewarding hike to the Stylos Monastery which is high in the Latmos Mountains. There is an amazing cave with frescos. The Stylos Monastery was the biggest of the region and was known for Saint Paul the Younger who lived on a tomb and ate only pine nuts. On the way you will also see a very ancient hand-powered olive mill.

Driving approx 1 h, Hiking approx 8 h

WISHTREE AND HOLY TOMB
Short, easy walk from our hotel to the holy tomb of Ilyas. You can attach a piece of cloth to the Wishtree and make a wish. The walk back to our hotel follows another way and is a little higher.

MT. ILBIR
Walk from our hotel to Mount Ilbir with lovely views of the lake with the Latmos Mountains behind. Strawberry trees can be seen on the way. We then descend to Pinarcik village where you can stop in a teahouse. If you wish you can also walk over the marble quarries back to our hotel.
